About

WHO WE ARE

Established in the heart of San Diego, CA, the Foundation for Navy SEAL Veterans stands as a beacon of hope and support for the brave souls who have dedicated their lives to our nation’s security. Founded in 2013 by retired SEAL Mike Johnson, our organization proudly holds the designation of a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Though our roots are deeply planted in San Diego, our outreach and services expand far beyond these borders, stretching to any corner where our SEAL community might need us.

OUR DEEPLY EMBEDDED MISSION

At the very core of the Foundation for Navy SEAL Veterans is our unwavering commitment to uplift and support not just the active and retired SEALs, but also their families who have shown remarkable resilience and sacrifice. We wholeheartedly understand the unique challenges that come with transitioning from the intense demands of service to the rhythms of civilian life. It’s not just about ensuring a smooth transition, but also about fostering a sense of belonging by helping SEALs reconnect with their peers and former colleagues. Moreover, we extend our arms to the families, ensuring they receive the assistance and guidance they need during any phase of their journey.

BRIDGING CONNECTIONS:
STAYING CONNECTED

One of the predominant pillars of our foundation is fostering and nurturing the connections among the SEAL community. The bond that forms between those who have served together is irreplaceable, a bond that can become a lifeline in the intricate dance of life post-service. Recognizing the power of networking, especially among those with such distinct shared experiences, we’ve initiated various programs, services, and networks. Our aim is to bridge the gap, helping both on-duty and retired SEALs to reconnect with their comrades. This nexus not only keeps the spirit of camaraderie alive but also ensures that a network of support is always available, no matter the distance or circumstance.
