How We Handle Your Gift
Most gifts arrive unrestricted, which is the most useful form a donation can take. It lets us move quickly when a Veteran calls with a need that does not fit a program category.
If you want your gift directed to a specific program, tell us on the donation form or in a note and we will honour it and confirm in writing.
The Foundation runs lean by design. Directors serve without compensation, and administrative overhead is kept to what is genuinely required to operate a compliant nonprofit.
Are my donations tax deductible
Yes. The Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a written acknowledgement for your records.

Does my employer match gifts to the Foundation
Many employers match charitable donations. Provide your matching gift administrator with our legal name, Foundation for Navy SEAL Veterans, and tax ID 27-3554850. If they need extra documentation, ask us and we will supply it.
